The Ceremony will begin with the procession of the Platform Party and Academic Staff entering the Convocation Hall.
The ceremony will be opened, and the welcome speech and address will be made. If there are Honorary Awards, they will be presented at this time. The Head of the College will then take the stage to announce the graduation presentation.
When the presentations begin, students will be asked to move, row by row, to the marshaling area at the foot of the platform steps. The names of the students to be presented will be called individually. When directed, they should mount the platform and shake hands with the Beta College representative and the Guest of Honour. Any prizes awarded to individual students will be announced at the same time the award is announced, and the prize will be presented on stage.
After receiving, students should proceed across the platform, down the steps, around the procession, and back to their original seats.
The Guest of Honour will then make a speech, followed by a Vote of Thanks from a Program Coordinator. There will then be a closing speech, and the processions will leave the Convocation Hall, followed by the new Graduates.
The Gala Graduation Dinner will then be served in the designated area for all guests invited.
