Intramuscular Injection (IM) is a medical procedure where medications go into the depth of specifically selected muscles. The program is designed for health professionals and front-line workers to understand the concepts of intramuscular injection and to administer them safely.
A certified professional delivers the program. The concepts of patient safety are included as well. This course is ideal for anyone who wishes to learn for oneself or learn to assist a family member with insulin injections.
Non-Vocational, Short term
This program is exempt from approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
This is a non-vocational program offered by Beta College for personal interest and professional development. It is not a program leading to a credential under the Ontario Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. Policies regarding refunds, attendance, safety, and conduct are in effect.
