This course prepares students to assist with and administer medications in community–based Home Support, group homes, Assisted Living, and residential care settings under the supervision of a nurse. Where students gain accurate knowledge of different actions and side effects of various medications. The program also teaches about various routes of medication administration and the skills required to properly administer different medications through particular routes, including oral routes.
