In response to employers, studying Hospitality & Tourism Management here at Beta College gives you the chance to study this subject in the context of management, strategy, marketing, enterprise, economics and ethics.

This degree will prepare you for dynamic roles in this ever-expanding industry which contributes close to 40 billion Canadian dollars to the Canadian economy and creates one in 10 jobs. You’ll have the skills to manage operations and business across a range of industries including hospitality, tourism and events.

Co-Operative Education (CO-OP)

The best way to succeed in your field is to immerse yourself in it! Co-op is an excellent way to build your professional network, explore career paths and apply in-class teachings to real work situations.

Co-op is a model of education that integrates academic learning with workplace learning in fields relevant to our students’ academic and personal goals. Similar to an academic course, work terms are a mandatory component to this form of experiential learning.

Entrance into the co-op option is competitive. Students will be invited to apply to the co-op option during their second semester of study. Students who qualify for co-op will be eligible to complete a four-month, paid work term in the final semester of their program.

Admission Requirement
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Academic documents copies (Certificate and Transcript) of High School and / or university qualification.
  • Successfully complete the BETA College Academic Test (WONDERLIC) and receive a minimum score of 15.
  • Provide proof of academic standing equivalent to Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

About the Wonderlic Test:

  • 8-minute test with 30 questions.
  • Students will receive a link to complete the test.
  • Students must achieve a minimum score of 15 for this program.

Computer Use Expectation: It is recommended that you have access to a personal computer or laptop to successfully progress through your studies.

English Proficiency Requirement

Native English Applicants: Proficiency tests are not required.

Non-Native English Applicants: IELTS (minimum 6.0) or TOEFL (minimum 79).
