Unit Name: Design and Technology

This module aims for students to understand how to establish techniques for tackling design challenges and how to choose acceptable materials. This course also allows the student to hone their abilities and expertise in computer-aided design (CAD), specifically in creating 2D designs.

Unit Code: EFP 304

Unit Name:  Introduction to Statistics

This module seeks to present basic statistical principles and basics of statistical analysis and increase confidence in using mathematical and statistical reasoning abilities to solve real-life issues in a variety of new and unexpected circumstances.

Unit Code: EFP 305

Unit Name:  Introduction to Project Management

Introduction to Project Management is an excellent place to start if you need to handle projects at work or home but are not an officially qualified project coordinator. Mature Learners Entry Scheme

  • A mature student returns to study after being out of education for three years or more. This requirement usually means students over 21 when beginning a foundation program.
  • Our Mature Student Entry Scheme recognizes non-traditional entry qualifications and experience alongside your university application. We are looking for people who have a passion for learning and an accurate determination to succeed in one of our courses.
  • Total Module Time (TMT) is the number of hypothetical hours that reflects an estimation of the overall time that might reasonably be anticipated to be needed for a learner to accomplish and show the level of attainment required for the granting of a certificate.
  • Guided Learning Hours (GLH) is described as the times during which an instructor, lecturer, or other staff member is accessible to give direct instruction or guidance to a learner pursuing a certification.
  • The credit value of a Module or Unit is defined as the number of credits that may be granted to a student upon successful completion of the module’s learning objectives and goals. One Beta College Credit is equivalent to ten TMT hours.
