Phlebotomy is the process of drawing blood by puncturing the vein. It is also known as a venipuncture. Phlebotomy is carried out to take blood samples for mainly laboratory testing. This dynamic certificate program on Phlebotomy is aimed to dispense the knowledge of the procedure and skills necessary to draw blood and other specimens and other associated steps involved in medical settings, using proper techniques and routine practice measures.
